**NOTIFICATION OF BASE RATE INCREASE**

At the annual board meeting on March 14, 2026 the board approved a maintenance rate increase from $20 to $50.  This means starting June 25th your bill will increase by $30.  The increase is to help cover the cost of repairs and upgrades needed for the aging water system.

Some of these repairs include a new ground storage tank for plant 2, replacing isolation valves that do not shut off the water completely and the recent power surge in Weatherford damaged several electrical components at the water plants.  

These are just a few examples of the maintenance and repairs needed on Highland Water System.
